Hello from the Doghouse. Were back in Southern California this season and will be running offshore and island trips. Were really looking forward to a great local season due to the fact that it looks as if we will be in a sort of el-nino set up. Which could spell disaster for all those exotic pelagic species we all love to see here in our local waters, from dorado, to yellowfin tuna, to an over abundance of striped marlin.

 

We will be kickin it off here shortly with island trips and soon enough switch gears to focus on our specialty offshore fishing including albacore, bluefin, and yellowtail. We are modifying the boat for fishing California again by removing the chair and adding an enormous 230 gallon bait tank to the cockpit. Which will be perfect to accommodate plenty of live bait for staying on scene effectively on multi-day trips for tuna.
